Just back from a conference in Hawaii where I did two workshops based on K-web, and I also saw Bob Stein, who has amazing e-book authoring software http://www.nightkitchen.com/ that might serve as a kind of testbed for multimedia multiperson kweb authoring.
Actually after the conference I went to Seattle for a teacher's workshop, and got some good ideas for beta improvement. Jim Zaun has done a nice globe display we are currently integrating.
