Just had some useful meetings with Sun, Google Earth and Cisco, but the big news is we're a finalist for a million dollar grant from PBS, so I'll be going to DC in a week or so for that. JB is finishing up final details on the new book. The new Thebrain beta is up, and will be ready for use quite soon. We need some Java, XML and SQL expertise. Also looking for volunteers to play with Google Earth (no experience necessary). contact pmmckerc@ucsc.edu
